"I didn't attend the funeral, but I sent a nice letter saying I approved of it." --Mark Twain
This has been such a lethargic weekend for me. Really, there's nothing exciting to talk about.
Corb said it best last night. "The change in weather just does something to me. I just feel like sleeping all the time." So we both have that seasonal mood disorder thing going on, and our lives right now are about as exciting as what lies beneath Clay Aiken's pants.
Have picked up some interesting books this weekend. Corb picked up Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell yesterday, which I've been dying to read for about a year. I'm so jealous...and of course, I can't read it until he's done. Which is okay, because I still have to slog my way through the fifth episode of Harry Potter, which has the look and feel of a freshman year Biology book. I'm really glad that Rowling chose to make the next one two hundred pages shorter!
One thing that I'm really happy about: I've been continuing to work away on The Late Night Show , and will be posting another chapter later on today, for those of you who have asked to be on the list--or whom I forced . I want to get in one more edit. I feel as though most of my writing focus is wrapped up in that book...which makes my Live Journal a little more lifeless than usual.
Another cool thing...Corb and I have planned a trip to Niagara Falls at the start of November! I can't wait to see it, and take lots of pictures. In fact, we've got some really fun trips planned during the next few weeks, including a ghost tour and apple picking in New Hamster. Okay, I'm starting to feel a bit better, just typing that. Maybe I should go pick up some coffee, bite into the cheery strudel that's been set aside for me in a box all weekend, and start attacking those edits on The Late Night Show ...
