I spent the first five minutes smiling during the ride, because I know that I had tortured him by making him go see it. He had been a good sport, too, about the whole thing, and had not said a single negative word.
But still, I couldn't resist. "So, what did you think?" I asked.
"Ummm, well, I thought it was a bit dry," he replied. "Even if it was all about wine."
"I thought the beginning was slow," I admitted. "But I still liked it, overall. I could relate to the content, and I liked the way that they

suggested that he ends up with Maya at the end, and gets on with his life."
"Well, that didn't really suggest that," he replied. "Her message said that she was going to quit her job and move after she graduates."
"He ends up with her," I replied. "Trust me."
I decided to turn the screw a litle tighter. "How long do you think that movie was?"
"It felt like a year," he said, before he could think. My poor man. He'd been up since 5:30, and it was midnight, at this point. "But I'm so tired, I started sleeping during it."
"No, REALLY?" I said, sarcastically.
"Um, did you know that I was sleeping?" Corb turned to me, grabbing my leg. "Ted, I didn't snore, did I?"
"Well....maybe just a little..."
"Ted, tell me that I didn't! I wasn't really loud, was I?"
"No, you're just teasing me! I wasn't REALLY loud, was I?" Corb sighed and shook his head. "No wonder that old man seemed angry with me when I excused myself to go to the bathroom..."
Still: pretty good movie, well written, foreign feel. Much better than Boogeyman , which I saw with Ashley earlier in the day. But that should go without saying.
